7 Days to Lose the Weight, Waste, and Waist - A Natural Approach to Cleanse and Detoxify the Body

Join Author Marcia Fairweather as she conducts a workshop on Detoxifying and Cleansing the Body. Highlights will be presented from the recent self-published book, journal, and tape titled “Renew and Recharge Wellness Program for the Mind, Body, and Spirit”, which describes an effective seven-day process utilizing various forms of cleansing, detoxifying and life enrichment activities as an approach to maintaining good health. The two-hour interactive lecture and demonstration will highlight the easy to follow program and review various techniques to detoxify through the eliminating organs of the skin, lungs, kidneys, liver, and colon.

7 Days to Wellness, A Natural Approach to Reduce Toxins and Cleanse the Body” describes a structured approach to healthy living through cleansing and reducing toxins out of our bodies. As part of natural methods and the combining of many well-known approaches to maintaining health, this descriptive book program along with a journal of daily activities provides an effective seven-day process utilizing various forms of cleansing, detoxifying and life enrichment activities. The detailed plan from the program describes the use of water, teas, broths, juices, herbal supplements, and integrated daily activities to bolster health, providing daily guidelines and structure that is easy to use as a continuous life enhancement practice. Even the medical establishment is giving more attention the benefits of a periodic regiment to eliminate or reduce toxins as a key to preventing some of our common degenerative diseases and maintaining good health. Reducing toxins from our systems also provides a good foundation for our bodies before initiating a weight management program and is a great way to improve the potential for lost pounds to stay off.

Summer Meditation Program

A Communion With Your Inner Self

Unwind from your day and listen to the sounds of nature, silence, and your inner wisdom as we take peaceful walks through local parks and central downtown DC locations. Learn a simple yet powerful way to meditate by "walking with your self" through silence. Let this commune with nature invigorate your mind, body, and spirit.


Each session consists of:

- A Pre-walk "Intro to Meditation" to prepare you for the walk with suggested mediation techniques to use

- Walking in silence along the paths

- A Post-walk reflection and time for sharing


The evening program is from 6:30-8:30PM at various locations around the Washington DC area.
